The third, fourth and fifth line refer to an argument i have seen made by religious conservatives claiming that some sins are acceptable in low doses because they have helped humanity grow. Specifically, i'm referring to their argument for greed, because i don't think our economy should be driven by it.

I'm aware, however, of the impracticality of a direct revolution in this society of ours. Anarchy is a far more complex system than what it seems. Humanity (including myself, i'm not that hypocritical) is still far too stupid, selfish and aggressive to succesfully implement a system that only works if we have to think for ourselves while still looking for collective well-being. Most of the time, either one of the two gets sacrificed (so sacrifice collective well-being for full individualism or sacrifice any individual freedom for the greater good) or we get inbetweens with more emphasis on one side or the other, depending on the ideology of the ruling class.
